Sessions & Pricing

Pricing & Packages:

Standard Photography Session:

ncludes a pre-session consultation, an on-location photographic session of up to two hours, post-session consultations, photo editing, ordering assistance, a CD or DVD containing your pictures in high-resolution format suitable for printing, and a $30 print credit:

These sessions can be in the privacy and convenience of your own home or another suitable location of your choice.  Please note that an additional travel fee may be required for sessions outside of the Colorado Springs metropolitan area.

Event Photography:

an include such events as birthday parties, baptisms, corporate events, reunions, parties, celebrations, and other special occasions:

• $75/hour

Please note that there is a two-hour minimum, and an additional travel fee may apply to sessions outside of the Colorado Springs metropolitan area.

Packages (Maternity & Newborn):

• "New Arrivals": Includes a photo session with your newborn of up to two hours, plus a custom photo birth announcement design and 30 birth announcements (For the best newborn images, schedule your session between 5 and 14 days old):

• "Expectations": Includes maternity and newborn photo sessions (I suggest scheduling your maternity session 6 to 10 weeks before your due date):
  • $350
• "Belly to Birthday: Includes maternity and newborn photo sessions plus three additional sessions during baby’s first year:
  • $800

Purchasing Prints:

few days after your photography session, your images will be available for review in a private online gallery on this web site. I will send you a link by email so that you can view and select pictures at your convenience. This is the best time to make any special requests, such as black and white, special effects, spot colors, etc. Along with your prints, you'll receive a compact disc or DVD containing all images in high resolution format suitable for printing. This disc is yours to keep should you ever want to reproduce your pictures.

Referral Program:

imply provide me with a referral that results in a photo session and receive your choice of two free 8x10 prints or a $10 print credit.

Design Fees:

offer an exclusive variety of completely custom, one-of-a-kind designs, print layouts and unique arrangements for clients that want the very best. Please contact me at any time for details. For example:

• Storyboards & collages start at $100.
• Custom digital photo albums start at $150.
• Gallery wraps and other special prints and layouts are available.  Please contact me for details.

What to Expect:

hen you schedule your session, we will agree on a location and discuss wardrobe and other ideas. Please feel free to ask as many questions as you’d like. A few days prior to our session, I will call or email to verify the meeting time and location.

On the day of your session, please be sure to clear enough time in your schedule so we can relax. If we are doing a maternity session, or any session where you might be showing some skin, please wear loose fitting clothing (including undergarments) and remove watches at least one hour before our scheduled start time. Remove your baby’s socks and any clothing with elastic at the waist, wrists or ankles. If possible, switch to a cloth diaper so we can avoid the little diaper indent marks on baby’s skin.

Sessions typically last one to two hours. Feel free to change your outfits, include your kids or pets, and suggest any ideas that come to mind. We’ll try a variety of backdrops, backgrounds, lighting combinations and poses. At the end of our session we’ll sit down together and review the pictures to ensure that we are both satisfied with the quality of the images.

What to Wear:

hink simple! Solid colors work best as logos and prints tend to be distracting.  Feel free to have several outfits ready for wardrobe changes. Below are a few suggestions based on the type of session you have chosen:

Maternity:

• White button down dress shirt (husband’s shirts tend to work well)
• Black pants or long skirt
• Black, form fitting shirt
• Black or white ‘crop’ style bra
• A favorite accessory (scarf, poncho, hat, etc)
• Anything that makes you feel beautiful and shows off your growing belly!

Newborn:

• Naked babies are beautiful!
• Any outfit with special meaning (christening gown, family heirloom)
• A special item (stuffed animal or toy)

Family:

• Dress everyone in similar colors – jeans and white shirts create a great casual look, as do khaki shorts and blue shirts.
